The program T3 (T Cubes) gathers the teachers of different countries having the desire to be interested in the use of new technologies for the teaching of experimental sciences and mathematics.

Its initials come from English, and have in fact a double significance summarizing all the philosophy of this program.

* T3 = T T T means Teachers Teaching with Technologies, the teachers who teach with the assistance of new technologies...

* But T3 means also Teachers Teaching to Teachers, it is indeed a program which rests on the exchange of information between the teachers of different countries of the world.

This program was initiated by professors Frank Demana and Bert Waits, Ohio State University, in the current of the summer 1988. All began with the organization, with the support of Texas Instruments, of three one week lessons, intended to show how the power computers and the possibilities of visualization of the graphic computers could improve teaching of the first concepts of analysis.
Since, hundreds of formations were organized through the world on the use of new technologies in teaching.

This program concerns currently more of 25 countries, and it continues to extend.

As its initials indicate it, one of the fundamental points of this program resides in the exchange between teachers. They are teachers, already formed with the use of technologies, which make divide their experiment with other teachers. In particular, to facilitate these exchanges, a world congress is now organized each year.
The next one will have place of the 9 to July 14 2000 in Colombus, Ohio, the United States.
