... Today, TI-France
reproaches me certain things, like the fact of having disseminated certain information
on the future TI Voyage 200, and to directly dialogue with TI-Dallas.
So that
all the visitorsunderstand quickly, here, a short history on information which
you found on TI Voyage 200 :
- Texas Instruments carried out a considerable
error while letting appear a code name on a page of the official site: Sylvester.
-
I had immediately contacted TI-France and TI-Dallas, which a few days later had
withdrawn this mention.
- This code name was thus known by certain visitors,
and circulated on forums of discussions and sites of students.
- At the time
of the official advertisement of this future calculator (by Texas Instruments),
some sites disseminated confidential information, like the name of the next operating
system and other precise details.
- To defend the interests of Texas Instruments,
I had taken the initiative to warn these sites. (like ti-fr, for example. Webmaster
can confirm)
- One week later, this information being unfortunately largely
spread, I decided to make them public.
- Error, because one reproaches me this.
